Meet The Team

Louise Woodhams - Editor
How long have you been at PBMW?
I joined the company in March 2003 as Staff Writer.
What job did you have before PBMW?
I worked as a freelance motoring journalist writing for several local newspapers, the Motor Caravan Magazine and Volvo Magazine (everyone has to start somewhere). The money wasn't very good though (some things never change) so I also worked as a Box Office Assistant at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
What's the best part of working on PBMW?
Traveling the world and getting to see some of the best cars on the scene and meet new people. I feel very privileged getting paid for doing something I love.
What's the worst part of working on PBMW?
Having to work long hours and most weekends during the show season, constant deadlines and not taking enough holidays.
What's your favourite PBMW feature car of all time?
Difficult one. For pure German styling it has to be the E30 325i featured in April 2008, for ballsy modifying the 2500 pick-up featured the month after takes the trophy and for sheer performance the M5 powered E30 M3 Turbo from August the same year.
What's the worst chat-up line you've ever heard?
"I'm here, what's your other two wishes?"

Ben Koflach - Staff Writer
How long have you been at PBMW?
Not long... I started at the beginning of the year so I'm the new guy!
What job did you have before PBMW?
I didn't have a job per se, but I kept myself busy with freelance work for Performance Car and also restoring my classic.
What's the best part of working on PBMW?
It's all good but I love getting in contact with loads of people surrounding the BMW scene.
What's the worst part of working on PBMW?
Not sure I've found one yet (perhaps watch this space?)
What's your favourite PBMW feature car of all time?
I think it's hard to beat Nic Fosters E21 purely for its stance - it's just stunning!
What's the worst chat-up line you've ever heard?
"I was really bored so thought I'd come over"

Mel O'Neill - Advertising Manager
