E60 535d

Owner: Amit Kainth

In just one year Amit has transformed the looks of his E60 535d, faithfully recreating the desirable M5 but with a twist. To achieve the look the cars original bumpers both front and back were swapped for motorsport alternatives. Continuing this theme Amit fitted M5 side-skirts and door mirrors, but the winning touch has to be the vented front wings with M5 detailing, enough to fool even the most ardent enthusiast. To finalise the saloons makeover he has popped in some clear LED rear lamps, slapped on 20” M5 replica wheels and lowered the car on Eibach springs.

With looks to kill Amit then got on with the job of improving the motors performance. As it’s a diesel he of course decided to chip the engine giving his motor a whopping 331bhp, 55bhp over standard. He also chose to replace the standard air filter improving the airflow to the glorious six-cylinder diesel lump.

To expel this additional air a quad exhaust originally found on the M5 has ventured onto the scene, it gives an awesome grunt and would probably scare most people enough to forget their planned overtaking maneuver.

With all the additional power Amit has upgraded the brakes to black diamond cross-drilled and grooved discs and fast road brake pads. The car is beautiful in everyway and we’re sure you want one as much as us. The looks of the M5, great performance without braking the braking the bank, well not as badly anyway!
